1 Who we are

Social Keychain is a trade name of BitLabs3D, based in the Netherlands. You can reach us at support@socialkeychain.com.

2 Applicability

These terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements via socialkeychain.com, for both consumers (B2C) and business customers (B2B). By placing an order you accept these terms.

For business customers, any purchase or other terms of the customer are expressly excluded.

3 Offers & orders

  • All offers are non-binding and subject to availability.
  • An agreement is concluded when we confirm your order by email.
  • We reserve the right to refuse orders or request additional information.
  • Minors must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to place an order.
  • Obvious errors in price or description are not binding on us.

4 Prices & payment

  • All prices are in euros (€) including VAT, unless stated otherwise.
  • Current prices are listed on the product pages on our website.
  • Payment is made via Shopify Payments at checkout.
  • In case of non-payment we are entitled to cancel the order.
  • Price changes do not apply to already confirmed orders.

5 NFC chip programming

With each order, the customer provides a URL which Social Keychain programmes onto the NFC chip. We process this URL solely for the purpose of programming the product.

  • The customer is fully responsible for the provided URL and the content it links to.
  • We reserve the right to refuse a URL if it is contrary to law, public order, or decency.
  • Once shipped, the programmed URL cannot be changed, unless a reprogrammable keychain was ordered.
  • Social Keychain is not liable for the content of the URL or social media profile provided by the customer.

6 Delivery

  • We deliver within the Netherlands and internationally via our selected delivery service.
  • Delivery times are indicative and may vary.
  • Risk of damage or loss transfers to the customer upon delivery.
  • In case of delay we will notify you as soon as possible.

7 Right of withdrawal (B2C)

As a consumer you have the right to withdraw from the agreement without giving reasons within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Report your withdrawal via support@socialkeychain.com.
  • Return the product within 14 days of your notification, unused and in original packaging.
  • Return costs are at the customer's expense, unless the product is defective.
  • We will refund the purchase amount within 14 days of receiving the return.

The right of withdrawal does not apply to business customers (B2B).

8 Returns & exchanges

  • Returns are accepted within 14 days of receipt, provided unused and in original condition.
  • Already programmed keychains cannot be returned, unless there is a defect.
  • For exchanges, contact us at support@socialkeychain.com.

9 Warranty & conformity

Our products meet statutory conformity requirements. In case of defects you may claim:

  • Repair or replacement of the product
  • Price reduction or dissolution of the agreement (if repair/replacement is not possible)

Contact us at support@socialkeychain.com within a reasonable time after discovering the defect.

10 Liability

  • Our liability is limited to the amount of your order.
  • We are not liable for indirect damage, consequential damage, or loss of profit.
  • We are not responsible for the content of the URL or social media profile provided by the customer.
  • We are not liable for damage resulting from incorrect or unlawful use of the NFC keychain by the customer or third parties.

11 Intellectual property

All rights to the website, texts, images, logos, and products are held by Social Keychain / BitLabs3D. Nothing from this website may be reproduced, stored, or published without prior written permission.

12 Complaints

Complaints can be submitted via support@socialkeychain.com. We aim to respond within 5 business days. If we cannot resolve the issue together, you may contact the European Commission's ODR platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

13 Governing law

All agreements are governed exclusively by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands. For consumers, the statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
