Social Keychain is a brand of BitLabs3D, based in the Netherlands. We sell NFC keychains that allow users to share their social media profiles with a single tap. Our webshop can be found at socialkeychain.com.

2 Data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

• Order data: name, email address, delivery address, payment information
• Account data: email address, password (encrypted)
• NFC chip usage: the URL you set on your keychain (e.g. your Instagram profile link)
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, page visits
• Communications: messages via contact form or email

• Improving our website and products
• Legal obligations (e.g. tax administration)
• Optional: email marketing (only with consent)

• Contract performance — for processing your order
• Legal obligation — for tax and accounting requirements
• Legitimate interest — for fraud prevention and website improvement
• Consent — for marketing emails (withdrawable via unsubscribe link)

5 Sharing with third parties

We only share data with trusted parties necessary for our service:

• Shopify Inc. — e-commerce platform (US, SCCs apply)
• Delivery services — name and address for shipping
• Shopify Payments — payment processing (PCI-DSS certified)
• Google Analytics — anonymised website statistics

We never sell your data to third parties.

6 Retention periods

• Order data: 7 years (statutory retention obligation)
• Account data: until account is deleted
• Marketing consent: until consent is withdrawn
• Technical log data: maximum 12 months

7 Your rights (GDPR)

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) you have the right to:

• Access — request what data we hold about you
• Rectification — have incorrect data corrected
• Erasure — "right to be forgotten"

8 Cookies

• Analytical: Google Analytics (anonymised, opt-out available)

9 Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to secure your personal data, including SSL encryption, access controls, and regular security reviews. Payment details are processed by Shopify Payments and are never stored on our servers.
